The role:

We are seeking a Commercial Administrator to join the expanding finance department. You will be based in company HQ in NI and gain the experience of working on large 1st tier government contracts. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial you will support the overall function by completing administrative duties on multiple projects.This is an opportunity for someone to develop their skills set in finance and commercial support. Opportunity for further education and training is also available.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling key administrative duties from the Procurement stage right through to final project hand-over.
  • Collate information from various sources for the preparation of enquiry and tender information packs.
  • Preparation of reports for both on-site employees and sub-contractors.
  • Liaising with QS’s to develop accurate costing & billing records for clients.
  • Support the prep of estimates and pricing for new projects
  • Liaise with field teams to ensure efficient gathering of documentation.
  • Check all field data submitted by field teams to ensure accurate reporting to clients.
  • Assist in publishing monthly and weekly P & L performance reports.
  • Keep payment record sheets up to date following completion of payment runs.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports, cash flow forecasts and cost preliminaries.
  • Support procurement process to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Liaise with clients and sub-contractors, always representing the Company in a professional manner.
  • General office duties including accurate collation and storage of information.

Requirements:

· 3 years’ experience in a similar role or relevant education.

· Experience of working in commercial or financial area within utilities or construction

· Strong analytical skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

· Good IT skills.

Benefits:

· £28k to £35k depending on experience
