Key Responsibilities:
• Properly mix, blend, and apply paint to repaired or replaced auto body panels and other parts.
• Complete the refinish process on a repaired vehicle, which could include masking, sanding, applying undercoats, mid-coats, and topcoats.
• Use power tools, paint mixers, paint, cleaning solvents, and waxes as needed.
• Ensure vehicles are properly cleaned and dusted prior to painting, to meet the production goals.
• Work closely with other technicians to ensure production goals and estimates are being met on time.
• Work within established company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safety and security for employees and property.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of auto painting experience
• Vision abilities including close, distance and colour vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Great communication skills to interact with customers and build accounts
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
