Job Description

Our client is an established, and highly lucrative Medical Devices and Pharma company with offices in Ireland and across Europe. Over the past number of years, they have experienced massive growth and with recent global events, the demand for their product grows further.

There is now a critical need for an Electronic Engineer to join the R&D team, and further drive on the development of smart technology within the devices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the Med Tech industry.

Responsibilities

Lead electronic development and upgrade of existing and new product lines.
Concept design and evaluation for future products.
Prototype development and hands-on testing as well as validation.
Collaborate with suppliers and contractors on current and future development projects.
Assist in the development of manufacturing processes for a new automated medical device.
Communicate with customers to determine research and development requirements for new products

Skills and Experience

3+ years’ experience in electronic engineering
Strong engineering fundamentals such as electronic circuit design/development with microcontroller-based embedded systems.
Experience in concept generation and systems design.
Experience in prototype development.
Knowledge CC++ software development and or other similar languages such as Python etc
Previous experience of working under strict, health and safety, quality and regulatory guidelines.
Awareness of the manufacturing/assembly process and techniques.

Requirements:

Primary Degree (Level 7) Electronic Engineering.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative and solve problems
Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven leadership abilities.
Must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
