As the Head of Quality & Environmental, you will be responsible for driving the overall Quality & Environmental function on-site. As part of the Senior Leadership team, you will focus on ensuring that the company deliver best-in-class, on-time to the customer while meeting specification requirements. With quality, systems, and processes at the forefront of your thinking, the successful candidate will offer demonstrable experience of embedding a culture of quality and improvements across an organisation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Overall management of the Quality & Environmental team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver on KPI’s.
Lead and implement initiatives to drive improvements in the standards of quality, process, and the culture of quality across the organisation.
Ensure that all quality systems are managed and developed appropriately, compliant to requirements and fit for purpose.
Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to Quality & Environmental requirements.
Report on KPI’s across departments to ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
2 + years’ experience at management level within FMCG/Production
Degree or higher in relevant 3rd level food, science and/or management
Commercially and financially astute
Knowledge of Lean management and continuous improvement techniques
Proven leadership and management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
