This role provides high-level and flexible secretarial support to the Senior Partners in addition to ad-hoc support to the litigation team. You will enable an efficient and smooth-running department by way of diary management, case management compliance and general secretarial duties. The role will suit an individual who enjoys a fast-paced, challenging yet highly rewarding role.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Complex diary management for the Senior Partners.
Prepare correspondence and documents from digital dictation
Provide high level administrative support to the department.
Coordinating and scheduling with barristers, opposing counsel, expert and factual witnesses, and other external vendors
File management, including electronic filing, scanning, photocopying, and archiving.
Assisting in court preparation to include responsibility for preparing full briefs for counsel, together with papers required for Judge.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Legal Secretary
IT Proficiency (MS Office Suite).
Strong typing skills.
Flexibility and a ‘hands on approach’ to any given task.
Ability to deliver high quality, accurate work in a timely manner.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Discretion, and a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client information.
