Job Overview

 The Company

Sparktel Recruitment is partnering with a leading Food manufacturing company to recruit a Production Scheduler. This role is part of a greater succession planning structure for the company and the hope is the successful person will develop within the role and move upwards within the company. It is also hoped that the successful candidate will bring about a fresh approach to current practices, policies and procedures and be instrumental in developing the overall culture of the company.

The Role

You will report to the Head of Production and will be responsible for ensuring the overall production plan for the site is developed and adhered to according to S&OP. You will be a link between all departments, including production, H&S, quality, and engineering to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Development of the production schedule.
Liaising with all departments to ensure the schedule is adhered to.
Management of Raw Materials.
Maximising Production.
Supporting various departments to ensure daily targets and KPI’s are achieved.
Ensuring quality of product is maintained throughout the production process.
Achieving cost saving opportunities where possible.

Candidate Profile

Experience in a similar role
Experience with FMCG/Food Production
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Strong negotiation skills and an ability to reach consensus, alignment, and commitment to a plan.
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Possess strong time management and organisational skills.
Analytical approach to solving problems and striving for greater quality.
Experience of working within a volume production facility and operating to lean principles.
