You will implement an agreed specification sales strategy to achieve profitable sales growth, enhance existing business relationships and foster new relationships with specifiers, clients, contractors and key projects in the UK and Ireland.
Using your technical expertise, you will operate across a mixed product discipline to offer turnkey solutions to your client base in both ROI and NI.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Write and follow through specifications from document to contract alongside regional team members following the industry standards.
Manage monthly reporting of activity with immediate team and planned actions with the regional team in line with objectives and KPI’s via business plan document.
Develop the client base further to add additional revenue-streams and growth opportunities through development of solutions to solve the client needs and differentiate from competitors.
Engagement with key influencers within product groups and in line with growth objectives – Technical presentations and product training.
Communicate both technical and commercial advantages of products leading to value engineered solutions for project requirements.
Carry-out training and toolbox talks for contractors.
Strategic management of projects from ‘inception’ via specifier, to ‘completion’ via contractor.
Maintain project tracker via CRM system and inform ASM of project forecast via monthly meeting.
Strong understanding of the specification process.
Previous success in selling a technical product/solution to specifiers would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the construction industry, and techniques.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of emotional resilience and a strong focus on achieving goals.
Awareness of market conditions and competitor activity.
Full Clean Drivers License.
