Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Billing and Accounts Manager for our client based in Roscrea. Our client is a leader in the provision development and maintenance of Ireland’s Telecoms Infrastructure. This role will report to the Commercial Manager and the successful candidate will ideally have experience working in the Civils/Utilities industry.

Role Responsibilities
  • Tracking PO’s and managing PO requests for clients
  • Management of cost for direct labour, subcontractors, material and plant
  • Receiving/managing client payments and processing payment certs from client for invoicing
  • Forecasting costs, measuring completed works cost and any deviations from estimates
  • Management of retention payments
  • Managing timesheets and subcontractor payments
  • Reviewing P&L statements
  • Working with Project and Contract Managers to prepare month end reports
  • Supporting Tender and Bid Teams with BOQ and budgets
  • Developing strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience required:
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within the Telecoms, Civils or Utilities Industry.
  • Proven ability to run complex and multiple bids.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, cost and profit.
  • Experience with NEC3
  • Excellent IT Skills particularly MS Excel
