Overview
Sparktel are currently seeking a HR Generalist to work with our client who is one of Ireland’s largest providers of design, build and maintenance services to the utilities industry. The successful candidate will work alongside the management team to implement HR Strategies that support organisational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Providing recruitment support, job posting, candidate screening, interviews and onboarding
  • Performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Management of employee relations, supporting staff development, and succession planning  
  • Providing support and advice to managers on performance-related issues 
  • Identification of training and development needs  
  • Maintenance of employee records, including HRIS data, personnel files, and compliance documentation. 
  • Preparing and presenting data-driven insights and metrics  
  • Administrative support to the HR department as needed. 
 
Experience Required
  • 3rd Level Degree in Human Resources with 2+ years of experience in a similar position. 
  • Full clean driving license.  
  • Experience with disciplinary processes and grievances procedures is essential. 
  • Experience of a unionised environment is an advantage 
  • Familiarity with labour laws and regulations. 
  • Experience with HRIS software
  • Strong IT Skills particularly in MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
