Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for an IMS & Compliance Manager for our client based in West Dublin. This position will be part of the Environmental Health & Safety department and will report to the Head of EHS. As a key leader within the EHS team, you’ll guide the business on regulatory requirements, lead system improvements, and manage a dedicated team responsible for compliance and audit activities.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation and ongoing improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring alignment with company policies and external regulations.
  • Lead the development and rollout of EHS-related policies and procedures tailored to business needs.
  • Conduct regular internal and site audits, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and completed.
  • Maintain certification and compliance with ISO standards and other accreditations.
  • Act as a point of contact for client audits, regulatory inspections, and external certification bodies.
  • Provide regular reports and data to senior management on compliance and system performance.
  • Contribute to business development and tender processes with compliance expertise.
  • Support and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the company.

Experience Required
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar Compliance or IMS role, ideally within the Telecoms or Utilities Industry
  • A strong background in Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality management with a recognised SHEQ qualification.
  • Professional membership of IOSH or IIRSM (IEMA membership is a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., 45001, 14001, 9001) and experience with audits and accreditation processes.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, set KPIs, and deliver training or development plans.
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisation, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel as needed, including occasional international travel.
