Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dublin West (Hybrid)
Salary: €60K-€70K
Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for our client based in West Dublin. Our client is a leader in the provision development and maintenance of Ireland’s Telecoms Infrastructure. This role will report to the Commercial Manager and the successful candidate will ideally have experience working in the Civils/Utilities industry.
Role Responsibilities
- Implementation and development of commercial reporting systems, processes and procedures
- Regular reporting to Commercial Director and other Senior Stakeholders
- Risk mitigation, pricing of variations, cost management, forecasting and budget management
- Responsible for managing multiple contracts simultaneously
- Collaboration with project delivery teams responsible for the work packages / project change control and management
- Supporting the Tender & Bid teams with bills of quantities and budgets.
Skills & Experience required:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience working within the Telecoms, Civils or Utilities Industry.
- Proven ability to run complex and multiple bids.
- Strong understanding of pricing, cost and profit.
- Experience with NEC3
- Excellent IT Skills
