Overview:
Sparktel are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager for our client who leads design and installation in Solar PV systems for homes and business across the country. The successful candidate must have at least two years previous experience as a supervisor or manager.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a warehouse and oversees all daily workflow, and schedules.
- Liaising with purchasing department and project managers to ensure all operations run smoothly with correct equipment.
- Handling performances of employees in accordance with company policies along with conducting performance evaluations.
- Establish optimum min / max stock holding levels in accordance with installation schedules. Developing inventory of materials and supplies located within sites and the warehouse.
- Must develop efficient policies to increase quality and safety.
- Managing and negotiating prices for components and delivery with suppliers, vendors and shipping companies.
- Two years of experience as a supervisor or manager.
- Qualification in Supply Chain, Business or related industry.
- Strong leadership and organisational skill with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Understanding of the company’s products and services.
- Microsoft Office and related software knowledge.
