Position Overview:
Our client is seeking experienced Distribution Linemen to play a key role in their growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution lines, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of power. Responsibilities:
Distribution Line Construction and Maintenance:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical distribution lines and associated equipment.
Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
Construct and upgrade distribution infrastructure according to engineering specifications.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on job sites.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose and troubleshoot distribution line issues.
Effectively and efficiently resolve outages or disruptions to maintain continuous power supply.
Collaboration:
Work closely with a team of linemen and other professionals to achieve project goals.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment inspections.
Provide timely and detailed reports as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a recognized Lineman Apprenticeship Program.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Distribution Lineman.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
