Overview:
Sparktel have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Quantity Surveyor with a leading provider for Telecommunications and Power Sectors in Ireland. The successful candidate must have previous experience in similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Commercial functions of various work including Design, Test & Commission, Materials, Electrification, Power, Plant.
- Implementing commercial reporting systems and procedures to focus commercial benefits.
- Managing all aspects of the financial and contractual elements of projects. Including, preparing commercial reports, working on cost and budget management.
- Managing cost of all labour and materials, holding meetings with Senior Management and clients to keep budgets on track.
- Liaising with multiple Project and Contracts Managers, along aside project team members.
- Ensuring clear communication with clients, design teams and subcontractors.
- Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Economics & Management.
- Previous experience working on Power Network projects or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of pricing, costs, and profits.
- Must have NEC3 experience.
- Must have excellent communication and organisational skills.
